Flower vase in 18/10 stainless steel with glass container.
The Barkvase is the result of a collection designed by Michael Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui inspiered by the trees that surround their house in Lucca. The flower vase is produced at the factory in Crusinallo, Omegna, using a cutting and laser perforating process on the steel sheet, which is subsequently shaped and welded. The design of Barkvase, as its name suggests, is inspired by tree bark and its perforated pattern recalls knots in the wood grain. The cylindrical shape of the vase recalls that of a trunk: the flowers inside it turn it into a poetic object, a small tree of life.
