Designer Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba continues his naturalistic exploration. These troublingly realistic chameleons come into our homes as if to remind us of the indestructible link that exists between man and nature. Lots of fun and very quirky, these resin lamps perfectly imitate these reptiles with their rough skin in several postures. They hold, wrapped in their tail, an LED bulb (supplied) to light up our nights! Their incongruous presence disturbs us, intimidates us, amuses us: whatever the case, you can’t remain indifferent! Far from blending in with the decor, the chameleon imposes its presence and all its evocative force. Obviously, animal nature has taken precedence over function. This object escapes us, it’s a wild object. By creating this collection, designer Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba is exploring themes like the relationship between man and nature, art and design, philosophy and the way things are... These sculptural objects, at the boundary between art and design, create a dreamlike, poetic, fantastical world. These little lamps will please both kids and grown-ups!
