Frank Lloyd Wright Coasters Set Chevron Design
The home décor and art glass designs in this coaster selection show just some of Frank Lloyd Wright’s many decorative designs that incorporate chevron shapes. Wright loved the simplicity of geometry and experimenting with it in endless combinations. Wright believed that the triangle shape was the symbol of courage and aspiration; the chevron is a derivation of the fundamental triangular form. To create the resulting complex designs, he used very simple equipment: the T-square, the compass, and the triangle.
Assorted set of 4 absorbent stone coasters, one of each design. 4.25" square with cork backing. Each set in a printed box.
