Tape Dispenser loose on a desk. As a heads up, it's not heavy enough to keep itself in place while you tear tape. Tape Dispenser works best with paper based tapes; washi or masking tape. Plastic, duct or gaffers tapes aren't recommended, but you're welcome to experiment.
