Carved in Kenya by Fair Trade artisans from local Kisii soapstone, these sweet little heart-shaped objects come in an array of earthy colors. Arrange them in a trinket dish for a warm, rustic look or give them as gifts to the people you love.
Each heart is hand-carved out of Kisii stone, sanded until smooth, and then polished. Kisii Stone is type of soapstone found only in the Kisii region of South Western Kenya. Since this heart shows the natural colors of the stone, some color variations should be expected. One can often see shades of cream, gray, pink, and brown in the design.
