TAC Glitch is a porcelain range collection within Rosenthal featuring plates, bowls, cups, teapots, sugar bowls, creamer, and etc. The pieces bear the name “Glitch” yet remain composed in form, rendered in fine porcelain with clean, round silhouettes. Signature Bauhaus elegance emerges in precise proportions. The restrained aesthetic suits minimalist tables or modern interiors; their versatility invites use for daily dining or intentional serving presentations, whether in quiet breakfasts or structured communal meals. Walter Gropius—Bauhaus founder and industrial designer—crafted this series, continuing his longstanding connection with Rosenthal, including his design of their Rothbühl porcelain factory’s buildings in the 1960s. Glitch belongs to Rosenthal’s studio-line tradition, emphasizing functional modernism and disciplined form. Many pieces have earned awards—such as the iF Design Award (1970), Dineus (2019), and are included in the permanent collection of Centre Georges Pompidou (1992)—underscoring the series’ design pedigree and institutional recognition.
