During the 1920s and 1930s, following international artistic trends, Vista Alegre developed a line of utilitarian and decorative objects influenced by the Art Déco style and the European cubist movements. The three sculptures, Pelican, Cat (whose inspiration is a piece created as a napkin ring) and Dog (from 1934, 1937 and 1939, respectively) are now launched as decorative collector items, in a modern reinterpretation, maintaining simple lines and geometric shapes, highlighted with vibrant and unusual colors.
