Ella Fitzgerald, who grew up in poor conditions, is considered one of the most important jazz singers of the 20th century. She made her debut at the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem, where she won a talent competition when she was only 17. During her long career, she recorded countless songs that won countless awards and climbed to the top of the charts. The Kokeshi wooden figure made of hand-painted wood is 14.5 cm high. Small irregularities are typical for hand-painting and make each doll unique.
