Alexander Girard originally created the Wooden Dolls (1953), a whimsical assortment of figures both joyful and grim, for his own home. Today they add a charming touch to any interior.
Dog and cat were kept in a decent black contrasting the colorful family members. The playful figures are made of three pieces, connected by magnets. That is how the single elements can be turned, exchanged and plugged again.
